Howard Hotels suspends China plans
Michael Liao, head of Howard Hotels, one of the leading Taiwan-based hotel franchises, has accused his partner of using violence to force him out of a botched resort project in Shanghai, China, in which the company lost over NT$400 million (US$13 million).
